Keep your family healthy with fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese, eggs, meat and other farm products grown and produced on local Howard County Farms. New vendors this year include Misty Meadows Milk and a jewelry vendor once a month. Market is at the rear of Visitor Lot C at HCGH.

June 22, 11:00 a.m. Birding Basics: Breeding Activities and Nest Selection. Step outside at the Miller Branch, and earn about birds that breed in Howard County and how to select a birdhouse. Geared toward beginner adult bird watchers; children welcome when accompanied by an adult. Presented by Howard County Bird Club member and Master Naturalist Susan Polniaszek. June 24, 3:00 p.m. Bats! Beasts or Benefactors? Explore the bat-ground of these amazing mammals at the Glenwood Branch with Richard Anderson from The Snyder Foundation for Animals. Discuss myths and learn how bats cause beneficial changes in the environment. Includes specimens to identify bat characteristics and an opportunity to touch the specimens. Ages 5 & up; 60 min.
